Sweeney Todd, Shows

Greetings to any and all actually out there... I am sitting here, listening to the soundtrack to Sweeney Todd, anticipating when the DVD arrives in my mailslot. I think it's safe to say much of the Society fell in some serious love with the Tim Burton film. I know that I did. In fact, it made a true fan of the show, when I was just shy of being a casual fan.

We haven't posted much in the blog. Not that there isn't crazy happenings going on. Perhaps we're just too busy doing them. I have a personal journal that doesn't get much love, either, so it is nothing personal.

I will try, as my April Fools resolution, to write more here.

Our next show is in May, and the one following is also in May. Since we haven't performed since February, it seems like a long time to wait, but to have two within 15 days of themselves in QUITE daunting. They also couldn't be more different; one is to have a more rock feel and the other more of a carnival/vaudevillian touch. That's us, though, we don't much like one genre over another.

While you're out there, check out Sweeney Todd on DVD and also keep a watch out for the upcoming Dresden Dolls CD No, Virginia, which I would like pretty much yesterday.
